We also collect information you provide when using the app, such as tee time details, group names, and profile information.
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use SecondTeeTime, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and usage patterns. This helps us improve the service.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate and improve SecondTeeTime, including:
- Creating and managing your account
- Displaying your profile to other members of your groups
- Sending transactional emails (password resets, tee time invites)
- Analyzing usage to improve the product
- Responding to support requests
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information sharing
Your profile information (name, profile picture, bio) is visible to other members of groups you join. Tee time details are visible to members of the group the tee time is posted in, and to anyone who has a direct share link.
We share your information with service providers that help us operate SecondTeeTime (database hosting, email delivery, SMS). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
4. Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which will remove your personal information from our systems within 30 days.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password for your SecondTeeTime account.
6. Cookies
SecondTeeTime uses essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can update most information in your profile settings. To request deletion of your account and data, please contact us at privacy@secondteetime.app.
